Simone Petersen is a Practice Director with WJB. She works with law firm and in-house legal departments on contract and full time placements. Prior to joining WJB, Simone was Vice President for a global outsourcing and workforce solutions company. Simone managed key market in California and the Pacific Northwest, and was a recognized leader in national client development. Prior to embarking in her career in her recruiting, Simone worked in financial services for 6 years. She received her BA from the University of California Santa Cruz and her JD from the University of San Francisco.

Simone is foodie, an enthusiast of architecture and interior design and travel. On her free time, she enjoys renovating her home and dreaming of landscaping her backyard. Simone recently completed a life long goal and built a large playhouse for her daughter. Simone enjoys gardening, learning about construction and working as a volunteer for the Democratic party. She also enjoys relaxing and spending time with her husband Patrick and their young daughter Parker.
